Lawmakers, Survivors of Solitary & Family Members to Hold Mobile Museum Event in Mt. Kisco Today to End Solitary Confinement

Oct. 22: Exhibit at 4:30 pm, Remarks at 7:30 pm • Participants Will Urge Full Implementation of the HALT Solitary Law to Stop Torture, Save Lives, & Improve Safety for Everyone

WHAT: Assembly Member Levenberg, other lawmakers, people who survived solitary confinement, family members, and allies will hold a Journey to Justice Bus Tour event in Mt. Kisco to end solitary confinement. As part of a national bus tour that just left Buffalo, will be in New York City Oct. 23, and will reach 18 cities across the country over eight weeks, this immersive art and activism experience will provide the public with a window into the horrors of solitary confinement and call for an end to this torture.

WHEN: Oct. 22: Bus exhibit will be open from 4:30 to 7:30 pm + Community Conversation will take place at 7:30 pm

WHERE: Mt. Kisco Presbyterian Church, 605 Millwood Rd, Mt., Kisco, NY
