Speakers Call for Passage of Parole Justice, Sentencing Reforms, & Legislation to Help Free Wrongfully Convicted New Yorkers

(Albany, NY) – With the state’s legislative session nearing its end, formerly incarcerated New Yorkers, people with loved ones in prison, lawmakers and other advocates rallied today to demand urgent passage of legislation to create and expand fair pathways home for incarcerated people in response to the murders of Robert Brooks, Messiah Nantwi, and countless others by prison guards and security supervisors.
