Freed from a double-life sentence, a long-imprisoned New Yorker urges Albany to find relief for others

Gregory Mingo, 69, served nearly 4 decades in prison before former Gov. Andrew Cuomo commuted his 50-year sentence. Mingo was convicted in the 1980 murders of Queens residents James Parker and Karen Sheets. He has always maintained his innocence.
