Documentary Screening + Panel Discussion of “The Interview” • Zoom or IRL

March 25 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Woodstock NY Transition Series, co-presented with Woodstock Land Conservancy, Woodstock Jewish Congregation, and RAPP, invite you to a screening of “The Interview,” a short film exposing the injustices of the NY State parole system. The movie — live and on Zoom — will be followed by a discussion with a panel that includes people featured in the film and a Q&A session. Admission is FREE and open to all ages.

New York State has one of the highest incarceration rates in the world’s democracies. Despite efforts to reduce mass incarceration, the number of older people in our prisons is rising rapidly. The film features individuals who faced multiple parole denials despite having transformed their lives while behind bars many years earlier. Find out about the People’s Campaign for Parole Justice working to promote fair and meaningful release opportunities.
