Brooklyn legislators, including State Sens. Julia Salazar and Gustavo Rivera, alongside Assemblymembers Maritza Davila and Latrice Walker, joined a group of 18 New York lawmakers on Monday in Albany to support parole reforms.
The rally, held at the Million Dollar Staircase in the New York State Capitol, was part of a broader Parole Justice Advocacy Day aimed at promoting two pieces of legislation: the Elder Parole Bill (S2423/A2035) and the Fair and Timely Parole Bill (S307/A162).
